High Holy Days

  • High Holydays: Seats
    JULY 2017

Throughout July and August, we will be distributing the tickets for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur by email. The tickets being sent are for unreserved seats for members.
Where we have the separate email addresses of both husband and wife, individual emails will be sent to each address. Note that the tickets are set out in batches. If you hear about other members who have received tickets via email, it might be a few days before you receive your tickets.

All the emails contain a link to an online booking form for changing venues, booking reserved seats in the Annie and Samuel Levy Hall, or adding guest names. This form can also be used to book seats for your children over 20 years of age who are not TCM members and therefore are not pre-allocated seats.

Tickets for seats in the main Shul, which are all reserved, are being sent out during August.
For those members not on email, your tickets will be sent by post during August.

If you have received an email with your tickets, but have accidentally deleted it or cannot find it, you can request the email is sent again. Please click on the link below:

If you have any questions or queries, please contact us.
  • Yizkor (Memorial Prayer)
It is our custom to read out the names of your dearly departed on Yom Kippur, during Yizkor. As usual, a Yizkor Service Book will be available for use by all those attending our services.

If you wish to have the names of your dearly departed loved ones read out, please fill out your details using the form below.
In the interests of good order and decorum please note that the only names to be read out will be those notified to us.

If there is no change from last year, you will see that there is a box to tick, saving you (and us) a bit of work in not having to fill in the same names again. To assist you, you can see the list we used last year by clicking below:
    Yizkor List (last year)

Unfortunately, we cannot accept names by phone. Using this online facility prevents errors of transcription of names, greatly reduces the administration and thereby reduces our costs.

The closing date for us to receive your instructions is SUNDAY 24 SEPTEMBER
We will not be able to accept any further names after then.

It is also customary to make a special offering in memory of the departed. Your donation to your own community is a great mitzvah.  You have the option of making a donation whilst filling out the form. Please continue to support the Shul and give as generously as you can.
