Whether you are experiencing recent loss, delayed or prolonged grief, or facing early anticipatory grief of a loved one who is terminally ill, please know that you are not alone.
There is strength in sharing and comfort in simply being alongside others who understand.
With this in mind, we are excited to announce the launch of our new Compassionate Cafe - an informal monthly drop in; a gentle, welcoming space for anyone who would like to talk about their grief, share experiences or find mutual support and encouragement when it is needed most. Equally, it is for those who prefer to sit quietly, in silent solidarity with others.
Above all, it is a place to just be - be yourself, without fear of judgement or scrutiny, in a safe and confidential setting.
As trained volunteers in
bereavement befriending, we are here for you. So come join us at one of our pop up Compassionate Cafes, grab a cup of nourishment, receive servings of compassion, and we will be here, ready to offer a non-judgemental listening ear for when you need it most.
